some places and things

was it meant to be?
this waterfall is on finca fruicion about 3 minutes hike from our bus. you can only see a part of it, it totals about 60, 70 ft high. on a recent day i stripped down and freeclimbed to the top with another guy. flippin sweet. i dont have a picture of the other waterfall on the land but it is 30 ft high and perfect for showering, which i did yesterday
a very colorful, very beautiful mural at the bus station that wraps around the walls
sunset
same sunset
desiree's house... building in progress
the view that is often filled with butterflies
in our hostel in manuel antonio
this is the fog, not at its thickest, that often blocks the views seen elsewhere. the farm is at 1000 meters above sea level and it is often in a cloud.
yes that is me chilling in a hammock, enjoying the view
this is a town meeting in san augustin, the closest town to us (about 500 meters), the town is a church and two little stores where we can buy unhealthy snacks, this community center, about ten houses and a spectacular soccer field(easily the most well kept part of town save maybe the church). the topic is a transcontinental industrial power line that will connect the US and columbia and is going to travel through the valley we can see from the farm deck. major bummer. we are literally the only uncompleted portion of the line and people are trying to fight it, which is good.
the bus we can take to and from the farm once a day, six days a week
the municiple bus station waiting area

San isidro church. on the outside there is a mural of a saint doing farm work. agriculture is big here.
